Policy Overview

At EMER University, once a appointment is paid for and processes, your appointment reservation is confirmed. Payment is due 10 business days (2 weeks) prior to scheduled treatments.

Cancellations & Refunds

A minimum of 10 business days (2 weeks) notice must be given to reschedule or cancel appointments. Appointments cannot be rescheduled or cancelled with less than 10 business days (2 weeks) notice.
No-shows or late cancellations of appointments will result in a charge of 100% of the total amount paid for that missed appointment. All payment collected is non-refundable.

Acknowledgment of Policy

By submitting payment, you agree to this No Rescheduling Policy and fully understand that no changes to dates or times can be made after confirmation.

Photo and Video Policy

Patients who are being treated are not required to consent to social media filming and/or photos.

Work from the training program which is shared on social media must have clear credit to Jason Emer, MD as a contributing partner on the published media.

Patients who consent to media will sign a release which covers the providers present.

Dr. Emer’s training sessions are not allowed to be videotaped and redistributed. Recording and distribution of Dr. Emer’s training will put the disclosing party at risk for legal action. All photos/videos taken during training must be consented by Dr. Emer and/or the Training Coordinator

Reproduction of Confidential and Course Materials

Confidential Information made available to the Receiving Party may not be copied or reproduced without the Disclosing Party's(Emer University) prior written consent. All such copies must include a notice of copyright, if applicable, and any other proprietary rights notices or legends contained in the Confidential Information and shall be marked to indicate their confidential nature.

The Disclosing Party shall continue to be the exclusive owner of all right, title, and interest in, and of all patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks and proprietary rights in, any Confidential Information made available to the Receiving Party including, without limitation, all additions, enhancements modifications, and derivative works of the Confidential Information. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to convey to the Receiving Party any license to use sell, exploit, copy, or further develop the Confidential Information beyond the limited rights and privileges set forth in or contemplated by this Agreement.

The Receiving Party acknowledges and agrees that disclosure of any Confidential Information will likely result in irreparable harm to the Disclosing Party. Accordingly, in the event of a breach or threatened breach of the provisions of this Agreement by the Receiving Party or any of its Affiliates or Agents, in addition to any other remedy that the Disclosing Party may have at law, the Disclosing Party may seek injunctive or similar relief to specifically enforce such provisions without the posting of a bond or other security as a remedy for any such breach or threatened breach.
